Y.S .Jaganmohan Reddy was born on 21 December 1972. Jaganmohan Reddy also called as a Y.S. Jagan. He is the son of the former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy, he had served as a leader of opposition in Andhra Pradesh legislative Assembly between 2014 and 2019, and mother Y.S. Vijayamma. And now Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy is an indian politician and present chief minister of Andhra Pradesh since 2019. He is also the founder and the president of YSR congress party in andhra pradesh.
Early life and Education of Y.S.Jagan :-
Y.S.Jaganmohan Reddy was born on 21 December 1972 in jammalamadugu a small home town in Andhra Pradesh. He was from a Christian family. Y.S.Jaganmohan Reddy born to his father Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy, and his mother Y.S. Vijayamma. He has a younger sister Y.S. Sharmila who is also a politician.
In December 2020 Y.S.Jagan was visited Tirumala Venkateswara temple for that Andhra Pradesh High court dismissed a written order of quote warranty against him that being a non hindu he visited the Temple. The court observed that the petitioner failed to show any significant evidence on record which stable Reddy as a professing Christian. The court Next noted that one who cannot be considered a Christian merely for attending or go to the prayer in church.
Political career :-
2004 to 2009 Jaganmohan Reddy's father Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy was a two time chief minister of Andhra Pradesh and he was properly known as a YSR.
During the year of 2004 Y.S Jaganmohan Reddy start his political political career by campaign for Indian National congress election in Kadapa district, and he was elected as Member of parliament from Kadapa lok sabha constituency in 2009.
In September 2009 his father was passed away after the death of his father Jaganmohan Reddy started efforts to take up the political legacy. More than half of some group of legislator favoured him to be appointed as the chief minister, but Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi was to approved to this choice.
After six months of his father's death, the families of those alleged to have either committed suicide or suffered ill health on the news of his father's death, he began an odarpu yatra ( condolence tour ) as promised earlier to go and meet those families. When he started to go odarpu yatra the Congress party's central leadership Directed him to cal and an order which he brave leading to a fallout between the high command and himself, that it was a personal matter he went ahead with the yatra.
